New NCAA Division I Hockey Eligibility Adds CHL Players to the Mix


On Thursday, November 7th, 2024, the NCAA DI Council voted to extend eligibility to hockey players in the CHL. This is a landmark vote that will completely change the landscape of hockey development in North America. Who will benefit, who gets hurt, and what are the outcomes here? Connor Lyons is a strength and conditioning coach with 14 years of experience. He’s a graduate of USF’s Morsani College of Medicine and recieved his degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. He’s spent time at the University level, in the private sector and even spent time at the Olympic level.
